johnys-harness

johnys-harness is a single-user tool that the owner of JohnnyDesignsStore built to promote the shop on Pinterest. It runs only on the owner's computer, and the owner is its only user.

How it works:

1. It reads the shop's own Etsy listings through the Etsy Open API.
2. It drafts Pin images and text for a listing.
3. The owner reviews every draft and approves or rejects it one by one.
4. Only approved Pins are published to the owner's own boards through the Pinterest API, each linking to the matching Etsy listing, with a daily limit.
5. It reads analytics for the owner's own Pins to learn which Pins bring visitors to the shop.

It does not access other Pinterest users' data, does not publish anything without the owner's approval, and does not send Pinterest data to any AI service.
