Privacy Policy for johnys-harness (JohnnyDesignsStore)
johnys-harness ("the app") is personal software written and used by one person, the operator of the Etsy shop JohnnyDesignsStore ("the operator"), to promote the operator's own shop. This website, johnnydesignsstore.luckynumber.win, is run by the same person. This policy explains what information the app handles through the Pinterest API and the Etsy Open API, and what information this website collects.
1. Pinterest information
With the operator's own OAuth authorization, the app uses the Pinterest API only on the operator's own Pinterest business account:
- Boards and Pins on the operator's account: read to avoid duplicate Pins and to choose the board to publish to.
- Pins the app creates: each Pin is created only after the operator has reviewed and approved it individually. The app stores the Pin ID and creation time to record which approved draft was published.
- Analytics for the operator's own Pins (impressions, outbound clicks, saves and similar): stored to see which Pins bring visitors to the shop.
The app requests only these permissions: boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write, user_accounts:read.
The app does not access, collect or store information about any other Pinterest user. There are no users other than the operator.
2. Etsy information
The app reads public information about the operator's own Etsy listings (titles, tags, descriptions, photos) through the Etsy Open API to draft Pin text, Pin images and listing improvements. With the operator's approval, it may update the text of the operator's own listings. It does not access buyer, order or payment information.
3. AI-assisted drafting
Drafts of Pin text and listing text are written with Anthropic's Claude, used through the operator's own Claude subscription. Only public information about the operator's own Etsy listings, and images made from the operator's own photographs, are sent for this purpose. Information obtained from Pinterest is never sent to Claude or to any other AI service, and is never used to train or improve any artificial intelligence model.
4. Where information is stored
Information the app processes, including Pinterest access tokens, is stored only on the operator's own computer and is never shared. The operator deletes stored Pinterest information when the app is retired.
5. Sharing
The app does not sell, rent, share or disclose Pinterest information to any third party. Apart from the drafting described in section 3, it does not use any data processor.
6. Authentication
The app never asks for or stores Pinterest passwords or session cookies. It connects to Pinterest only through Pinterest's official OAuth flow.
7. This website
This website, johnnydesignsstore.luckynumber.win, does not use analytics, advertising or forms, and does not collect personal information from visitors. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) and may set a strictly necessary security cookie (cf_clearance) to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse. Purchases happen on Etsy and are covered by Etsy's own privacy policy.
8. Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the apps connected in the Pinterest account settings. After revocation the app can no longer access the account.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
